Cakoi, merupakan makanan diperbuat daripada doh lonjong panjang yang digoreng sehingga memerang keemasan apabila siap dimasak. Ia merupakan salah satu masakan masyarakat China dan turut popular di beberapa negara di Asia Timur. Kebiasaannya, ia dimakan ketika sarapan bersama bubur nasi atau air kacang soya.

Youtiao, is a long golden-pown deep-fried strip of dough commonly eaten in China. Youtiao are normally eaten at peakfast as an accompaniment for porridge or soya milk.

方法 / Method / Cara- cara membuat churros:

1) Put water, butter, salt and cinnamon into saucepan (Please set the saucepan to medium heat). Then, boil it.

用中火將水,黃油,鹽,肉桂粉放入鍋中。然後,將鍋翻滾煮沸。

2) Reduce the heat. 降低溫度。

3) Add flour and stir vigorously until mix forms a ball. Then remove the heat and let it rest for 5- 7 mins. 加入麵粉,攪拌直到他形成球形為止。然後靜置他5-7分鐘。

4) Add eggs, one at time, and stor until they combine. Set aside. 之後,加入一個雞蛋,然後存儲直至合並。

5) Set the saucepan to medium heat and add oil. Till the temperature reaches 180 degree celcius. 在中火鍋用中火加熱油,一直到溫度達到180度。

6) Put the dough into piping bag fitted with large star tip. Pipe 1inch strip of dough over the saucepan, then cut with knife and drop it into hot oil. Repeat the step till the churros bites filled the saucepan. 將面團倒入裝有大號星尖的管道袋中。然後將1inch 的面團條放在平底鍋上,用刀切開,然後將切了的團放入熱油。重復直到油條裝到鍋剛剛好 (不要太多,要讓鍋有足夠油炸的空間)。

7) Fry churros bites till golden pown colour. Then remove it with spoon.

8) Drain the churros bites with paper towel.

9) Mix the sugar and cinnamon together in a small bowl. then toss the churros into the bowl till it coated with the mixture.
